This season, the Warriors' starting rotation has assisted Golden State in many strong starts, but on Sunday, they produced their best first-quarter showing of the year.

With his feet on the throttle, Draymond Green ignited the proceedings. Green performed like he was shot out from under a shotgun against Minnesota.

The starting lineup consisted of two sluggish bigs, Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns. Every Timberwolves turnover resulted with Green directing the break in the opposite direction, giving the Dubs the upper hand.

It appeared as though Golden State would win easily. The Wolves fell down 106-86 at the start of the fourth quarter after failing to get within 15 points at any point throughout the following two quarters.
