After leaving Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has a lucrative offer to relocate to Saudi Arabia on the table, but the Portugal striker plans to wait until after the World Cup before making a decision, sources informed ESPN.

Annual compensation 

According to sources who spoke to ESPN, Al-Nassr has said they are willing to pay Ronaldo the equivalent of £16 million in compensation for the income he would have received had he completed the remaining six months of his Man United contract.

While he is in Qatar, Ronaldo, 37, has asked that his representation not participate in discussions about his future in club football, but sources have told ESPN that discussions about a transfer to Al-Nassr have already taken place.
