After a 27-23 loss to the Seahawks, head coach Sean McVay told reporters that quarterback Matthew Stafford is likely gone for the rest of the season due to a spinal cord injury. Stafford's placement on the injured reserve on Saturday guaranteed the QB would miss at least four games.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the veteran quarterback is battling with a spinal cord injury in his neck. Stafford's lower body is reportedly experiencing numbness as a result of the injury, and Rams head coach Sean McVay predicted that Stafford will miss the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
