Hayter defeated Toni Storm on last night's Full Gear PPV to take the lead in the women's division.

The British wrestler won the 12-minute back-and-forth match by striking Storm with a ripcord Hayterade after Toni had been sent into the exposed steel turnbuckle.

With this victory, Hayter earns her first piece of AEW gold and becomes the sixth woman to hold the title,

but the word "interim" still hangs over the belt. Thunder Rosa is undoubtedly the current women's lineal champion,

despite the fact that La Mera Mera has been out for almost three months.

In her absence, Toni Storm won the Interim AEW Women's Championship at All Out by defeating Hayter, Hikaru Shida, and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

The fact that Jamie is now in charge of the women's division raises a number of issues regarding the relationship between the Role Model and her.

The powerhouse transformed from being Britt Baker's lapdog to one of the most well-liked acts in the promotion as the groundswell of fan support for Hayter grew week by week in recent months.

Even though AEW hinted at a break between the two earlier in the year, it didn't materialise.
