Olivia has benefited from the easing of laws governing the sale of image rights by NCAA athletes.
According to NCAA rules, the US National Team standout was not permitted to profit from her internet celebrity.

However, that regulation was repealed in June 2021, and college athletes are again permitted to earn from their image and reputation.
She’s also had to defend her right to share whatever photographs she wants after a college basketball coach called her approach a “step back” for women.
“If you don’t like me, that’s fine, but, you know, watch your mouth,” she was seen saying.
